Obituary of Willard Paul Christopher

Willard Paul Christopher, 81, of Reedsville, WV, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, at Monongalia General Hospital.

Paul was born in Hudson, WV, on July 16, 1942, a son of the late Cledis W. "Tim" and Omeda O. (Groves) Christopher.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather that loved spending time with his family. He loved woodworking, tractors and his garden, especially his onions and hot peppers. He was a lineman for Preston Light and Power for 20 years and worked for Citizens Phone Co., J&J Homes and later for Walmart.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cora (Funk)Christopher; children, Terry Christopher and Rhonda of Pottsville, PA, John Christopher of Masontown, James Christopher and Dave of Fond Du Lac, WI, Teena Larew and Paul of Kingwood and Tracy O'Hagan and Tammy of Thornton; seven grandchildren, Jared Larew, Joshua Larew, Amber Reyes, Casey Christopher, Faith O'Hagan, Chase Christopher and Arron O'Hagan; seven great grandchildren, Xander Reyes, Justin Reyes, James O'Hagan, Dahlia O'Hagan, Alexander O'Hagan, Maddie Larew and Landon Larew; a sister, Phyllis Savage and Bill of Kingwood; two brothers, Robert Christopher and Joy of Cameron, WV and Clayton Dean Christopher and Lois of Albright, WV.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet (Lawson) Christopher and a sister, Fern Spiker Strawser.

Friends and family may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday, May 27, 2024, from 12 noon until the 4p.m service time with Pastor Mike Charlton officiating. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
