Hartley, 89 of 633 Rumbling Lane, Morgantown passed away, Monday, January 15, 2007, at his home. He was born, September 5, 1917, in Morgantown, the son of the late Harry M. And Edna M. Price Hartley. He was a well known electrician, working in Morgantown, Grafton, Masontown, Kingwood, and Fairmont. He also owned and operated a radio and TV business. He enjoyed science and made several scientific experiments. He was also an experienced carpenter and area farmer. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary O. Hartley, a son and spouse, Rodney K. and Sharon Hartley of Morgantown; a grandson and spouse, Rodney A. and Amy D. Hartley of Fairmont; two sisters, Georgie Moore of Morgantown and Marjory Nagy of McMinnville, TN He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Hartley and George A. Hartley; a sister, Opal Louise Mooney; and a nephew, George Robert Hartley. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, January 18, 2007 at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronald Funk officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Herring.
