Zion Cemetery-Masontown, WV Notes: Shirley Jean Wolfe Johnson, age 67, of Masontown, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born March 28, 1939 in Masontown a daughter of the Late Ruben Waitman and Alice Pearl Goodwin Wolfe. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother and great -grandmother. Along with her late husband, she co-founded the Faith Gospel Church in Birds Creek and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Rohr Road in Masontown. She worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Sundale Nursing Home and Hotel Morgan. She is survived by 3 sons and spouses; Rev. Roy and Paula Johnson Jr. of Morgantown, Harold and Cristal Johnson of Arthurdale, and Rodney and Shelly Johnson of Grafton; two sisters and spouses; Virginia Lucille and George Haskiell of Tunnelton, and Bonnie Sue and Raymond Shaffer of Masontown; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren; 8 nieces; Connie Guzeman, Donna Nester, Christine Wolfe, Frances “Butch” Herndon, Cathy Baylor, Georgia “Candy” Hovatter, Misty Shaffer, Amy Thorne and two nephews; Jamie Wolfe and Bubby Ellifritz, two Aunts; Hazel Summers of Morgantown, Sally Greathouse of Masontown, one Uncle; Dewey Wolfe of Masontown; sister in law; Nancy Wolfe;special friends, Yvonne Riley and Bill Conners; and her beloved bird, Eugene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Roy Johnson Sr. in 2003; one son John Johnson; and four brothers; Junior Wolfe, Donald James Wolfe, Freddie Wolfe and Roger Wolfe, two nephews; Raymond Shaffer, Jr., and George “Jake” Haskiell. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday January 3, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, January 4, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Funeral Home, with the Pastor Jim Weber and Rev. Roy Johnson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt.
