Lucille Kephart Family contact: Bernard Kephart Viewing times: Friday April 20, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral time: 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 21, 2007 at the Nazarene Church in Masontown Burial location: Masontown Cemetery Notes: Lucille (Sis) Kephart, 77, of Masontown, WV, passed away Wednesday, April 18th, 2007, at her residence with her daughter and husband holding her hand, due to complications from C.O.P.D. She was born in Borgman, WV, on May 26, 1929, the daughter of the late Edward and Nellie (Jefferies) Johnson. Lucille loved her animals, Kitty, and Molly, and loved watching the birds. Lucille loved going to spend time with her great grandchildren. She and her husband enjoyed many years of camping with the family. She attended the Masontown Church of the Nazarene She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Bernard Kephart of Masontown. They married September 28, 1949 on Bernard’s birthday; one daughter, and spouse, Katherine Eble Varner and husband David; four grandchildren, Deanna and husband Richard Mayers of East Stroudsburg, PA, Melissa Radcliff and Chad Radcliff of Morgantown and Kevin Eble of Columbus, OH, three great grandchildren, Mark, Ashley, and Elizabeth Mayers; two brothers and spouses, Frank and Geraldine Johnson of Newburg and Edward and Agnes Johnson of Newburg; two sisters and spouses, Dorlene and Roger Weaver of Reedsville, Mildred and Leo Haskiell of Tunnelton, one sister-in-law Maxine Johnson of AL., and one brother-in-law Bill Farmer of FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Johnson, sister Geraldine (Tiny) Root, and her loving daughter, Brenda Sue Kephart Radcliff and her husband Buck Short. Friends will be received at the Field Funeral Home, Friday, April 20, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the Masontown Church of the Nazarene, Masontown, WV, at 11: 00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2007, with Rev. Robert Ringer officiating. Interment will follow in the Masontown Cemetery.
