Obituary of Lawrence Lambert

Lawrence "Sonny" Lambert, 68, of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at his home. He was born in Reedsville, on April 22, 1942, a son of the late Wallace and Clara Simmons Lambert. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He had worked for many years as a coal miner; truck driver for Austin Powder; and was self employed as a landscaper. He was a social member of the Masontown VFW Post 1589. He loved to hunt and fish and was an avid WVU fan. He is survived by his wife Lynne Christopher Lambert; three daughters, Laura Gilmore of PA., Linda Lambert of NY, and Lorretta Lambert of Chicago, IL; two sons, Lawrence "Larry" Lambert Jr. of NY., and Lenny Lambert of NY; three sisters; Joyce Roberts of Toledo, OH., Sharon Dunn of Morgantown, and Donna Steele of Beloit, OH; two brothers; William Lambert of Lake Milton,OH.,and Mark Lambert of Masontown; and four grandchildren Anthony, Destiny, Vincent, and Robert. Friends may call Saturday August 21, 2010 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Masontown (Herring Community) from 12 noon until the 3 p.m. service time with the Rev. John Miller officiating.
