Lucille Martin, age 92, of Masontown, WV, passed away, Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, with family. She was born, August 17, 1914, in Reedsville, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Eva Overfield Taylor. She was the last surviving member of her family. She enjoyed many precious moments with her family, especially the younger children. She is survived by one son, Larry Dana Martin of Morgantown; three nieces, Dolores Radabaugh of Grafton, Ohio, Charlene Innes of Arthurdale, Penny Bragonje of Morgantown; two nephews, Terry Smith of Arthurdale and David Martin of Princeton; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. The family extends their gratitude to her special caregivers; Norma Holt, Patty Pell, and Hilda Cosner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Martin in 1987; three sisters, Naomi Born, Lois Smith and Melva DeGolyer; and four infant siblings. Friends will be received at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, WV, Friday, November 10, 2006 from 6 - 9 pm and on Saturday, November 11, 2006, from 11am until the 12 noon service time, with the Rev. Marcy Calvert officiating. Interment will follow at the Reedsville Cemetery.
