Obituary of Mary Annabelle Mayor

Mary Annabelle Mayor, 89, of Arthurdale, WV, passed away Sunday, March 15th, 2009. She was born in Thomas, WV on February 6, 1920, the daughter of the late Anton Urbas and Virginia Pierce Scott. She was the secretary at the Arthurdale Grade School for many years and was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Arthurdale, WV. She was a graduate of the first Arthurdale High School Class. She is survived by three sons, Kevin and spouse Kim Mayor of Reedsville, Stephen Mayor of Reedsville, and Michael Mayor of Hampton, VA; four grandchildren, Holley Rowan, Nathaniel Mayor, Adam Mayor, and Stephanie Blevins; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Mayor, one brother, Robert Urbas, and two half sisters, Virginia Born and Dorothy Boggs. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 18, from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9 pm. Services will be held Thursday, March 19 at 1:00 pm at the Community Presbyterian Church in Arthurdale, WV with the Pastor David Chedester officiating.
