Pleasant Cemetery Notes: Edward Lewis Blosser, Jr., age 58,of Ranson, WV, passed away, Friday May 9, 2008 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. He was born September 6, 1949 in Morgantown, WV, a son of the late Edward Lewis Blosser and Josephine Savannah Rock. Mr. Blosser served two terms in the Vietnam War with the United States Army and later served in the Army National Guard. After the military he did correctional and security work. He loved playing pool, fishing, and watching the Redskins or anyone who played the Cowboys. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was always willing to help a friend in need. He is survived by four daughters and spouses, Kellie Taylor of Sacramento, CA, Crystal and Steve Vanslaven of Versailles, KY, Lanetta and Jay Johnson of Sacramento, CA, Kim Blosser of Charles Town, WV; one son and spouse, Arthur and Mary Blosser of Martinsburg, WV; one sister Barbara Jean Blosser of VA, two brothers; Lawerence and Janet Blosser of NC, and Jack and Diane Blosser of VA; 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday May 14, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the Funeral Home 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2008 with the Pastor Derek Syruws officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on the Kingwood Pike, Morgantown, WV.
