He was born November 18, 1966 in Charleston, WV the son of Freda Emerson Plum of Reedsville and the late Willard Lee Plum. Scott was a 1985 graduate of West Preston High School. He was employed at the Department of Energy in Morgantown. He resigned recently due to his health problems. Scot was paralyzed from an ATV accident 17 years 11 months ago. We pray he is once again walking in heaven. In addition to his mother he is survived by a sister and spouse, Terri and Ronald Bennett of Tunnelton, 2 nieces and 2 nephews; Sharra Plum, Shayna Bennett, Brandon Bennett, and Brady Bennett, all of Tunnelton; his ex-wife, Beth Plum of Reedsville; a step-son Jack Rife; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Willard L. Plum on December 31, 2005; paternal grandparents, Bertus and Mabel Plum; maternal grandparents, Virginia Cole and Fred and Ada Emerson. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Friday August 4, 2006 from 4 p.m. until the 8:00 p.m. service time with the Rev. David Turner officiating.
