She was born in Baltimore, MD on October 1, 1973, the daughter of the late George H. Purtee and Carol Ann Heady Wilkins of Bruceton Mills, WV. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Home Health Aide for Valley Mental Health. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Jeffrey Lee Cook; one daughter, Margret B. Cook of Morgantown, two sons; Jamie L. Purtee of Morgantown, and Shawn M. Purtee of Morgantown, two brothers, Michael Guthrie and Andrew F. Guthrie, both of Bruceton Mills, one step brother, William Harlow Jr. of Baltimore, MD. and one granddaughter, Cheyenne Nicole Cook. She was preceded in death by one son Michael Allen Cook, her step father, William Harlow Sr. and her nephew, Justin Grant Guthrie Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday September 29, 2008 from 11 am until the 1 p.m. service time with the Rev. Rotha Hall officiating. Cremation services will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Field Funeral Home Rt. 2 Box 324 Masontown, WV 26542 to help with funeral expenses.
