Obituary of Mary Ramsey

Mary Lee Ramsey Family contact: Jim or Rodney Calvert Funeral time: Memorial Service- Saturday Oct. 28, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Masontown Notes: Mary Lee Ramsey, 73 of Masontown, WV, passed away peacefully Wednesday October 25, 2006 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born December 6, 1932 in Morgantown, WV, the only daughter of the late James and Ella Taylor Huber. Mary was a loving mother, and grandmother. She worked for the town of Masontown for over 20 years as town recorder. She is survived by two sons and spouses, James W. and Cathy Calvert of Masontown Rodney L. and Trish Calvert of Kingwood; son-in-law, George Demanelis of Morgantown; grandchildren, Christopher J. Calvert and wife Tammy of Morgantown, Matthew Calvert of Masontown, Bryson and Alanah Calvert of Kingwood, Christopher and Maria Demanelis of Morgantown, and her special caretaker, Hollie Mahler. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl W. Calvert, and a daughter, Cathy Demanelis. In accordance with her wishes her body will be donated to the WVU Human Gift Registry Program. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Masontown with the Reverend William Winston officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Preston County, PO Box 760, Arthurdale, WV, 26520, or the Preston County Seniors Center,421 ½ East Main Street, Kingwood, WV 26537.
