Notes: Anthony Tony Richnavsky, Jr., of Reedsville, W.V., died Monday, June 12, 2006, at home with his family after a long illness.
He was born February 12, 1937, in Uniontown, PA, a son of the late Anthony and Stella Kozel Richnavsky.
He graduated from WVU with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked in Salt Lake City, Utah area as a water treatment consultant and then in Connecticut as a Development Engineer on fuel cells on NASA projects (Apollo, MOL and space shuttle) and commercial projects mostly for public utilities. He then returned to PA where he worked as an insurance agent for American General and as a manager at Pine View Lanes before retiring.
He is survived by his companion of 19 years, Freda Cale; her children, Brenda Morris, Edward and Laurie Cale; her grandchildren Travis and Heather Morris; three sons and spouses, Robert and Lori, Roger and Debbie, Ron and Peg Richnavsky ; eight grandchildren, Robby, Kristen, Tracy, Scott, Kelly, Nikki, Amanda, Danielle Richnavsky and one great grandson Ryan Clapper.
Friends will be received at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from 5 -9 p.m.. Services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William Fichtner officiating. Field Funeral Home will provide cremation services.
