Zion Cemetery Notes: Ila Gale Taylor, age 89, of Masontown, WV, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Mapleshire Nursing & Rehab Center in Morgantown, WV. She was born on February 26, 1919, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Earl G. and Monnie L. Cale Sisler. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of Masontown. She is survived by three sisters, Velma Kirk, Alma Taylor and Sandy Groves all of Masontown, WV; one brother, Jack and wife Norma Ringer; one niece, Iris Graham and husband Bill of Morgantown, WV; two nephews, Marvin Taylor and wife Bonnie of Independence, WV and Robert Kirk, Jr. and wife Charlotte of Cross, SC; two great nieces, Sheila Gilbert and Debra Lineberry; and two great great nieces, Brittany and Brandon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Archie K. Taylor. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Gary Helms and Rev. Ronald Ford officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown, WV.
