Dear Gwen and family, There is not enough space here to begin to share all the wonderful memories I have of your mother. As my own kids have grown I have often thought about how patient your mother was with all of us...and how much time she devoted to carting us around! She was exceptional, and she will be missed. The news of Aunt Susie's death came with great sadness to our hearts. Some of the best time of my youth where staying with grandma and going to Aunt Susie's house where I was welcomed as her own child. Her charm, wit and caring nature will surely be unreplacable.

And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: for all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. Mk. 12.41-44 Aunt Susie, You held our Hands and our Hearts and lead by example. You taught us Courage and Love. When you left us, you left us with much Wealth. May your Works of which, Be Rich, and blessed with our Fathers Grace. Rick

Dearest Aunt Susie and Family: We are saddened by your passing but feel that you had a wonderful, fulfilling life and raised the greatest, most wonderful family and I am so proud to have had you in my life when I was younger and later when I married. We celebrated our 37th anniversary Wednesday and after hearing that you had passed Tuesday night we came to the conclusion that we must show the same example. We will be there in spirit as we have family with us here to care for. We love and miss all of you. See you in August. Jimmy and Carol McGhee Richmond, Virginia

Dear Phyllis, Bert, Linda, Gwen and Rusty, It is with a knowing heart that I send you my sympathy. Your Mom was a gem and I loved her from the moment I met her, in 1970. Her zest for fun and laughter was contagious. As much as you will miss her, please find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with your Dad. Love, Susan
