Obituary of Harry Thomas

Harry Donald "Jakie" Thomas, Jr., 53, of Bretz, departed this earth, Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born in Morgantown on September 16, 1958, a son of the late Harry Thomas and Vivian Gillespie Thomas of Bretz. He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Toothman and husband Carl and LaVerna Thomas; five brothers, Rusty Thomas and wife Rhonda , Brian Thomas and wife Candy, Jasper Thomas and wife Tanya, Wayne Thomas, and Dennie Thomas; one uncle; three aunts; many neices and nephews; special friends Maxine "Dale" Sampson and Paul Vincent; his dogs, Elvis and Moses; his parrot, Fritz; and to many friends to mention. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother Christopher Thomas. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday November 26, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday November 27, 2011 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service time with the Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Kingwood. Donations may be made in his memory to Vivian Thomas, PO Box 432, Masontown, WV 26542.
