Obituary of Robert Thomas

Robert Thomas Sr. Funeral time: Saturday March 8, 2008 at the Masontown United Methodist Church Notes: Robert J. Thomas, Sr. , age 69, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in Cornersville, TN. He was born on January 31, 1939 in Kingwood, WV, a son of the late Okey & Ethel Shears Thomas. He was a member of the Masontown Methodist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Donna Cunningham and her husband George of Cornersville, TN; one son, Scott Allen Thomas of Cornersville, TN; two sisters, Madeline Ennis, of Masontown, WV and Pauline Shaffer, of Windham, OH; two sister-in-laws, Vivian Thomas and Edna Thomas, both of Bretz, WV and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sons, Randy Thomas and Robert J. Thomas, Jr.; five brothers, Alva, Bruce, Willard, Junior and Harry Thomas; one infant brother, Georgia Thomas; one infant sister, Virginia Thomas and five nephews, Rodney Shaffer, Joseph Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Christopher Rex Thomas and Jeffery Thomas. A Memorial Service will be held at the Masontown United Methodist Church in Masontown, WV on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joyce E. Dye officiating.
