Obituary of Bethel Trickett

Bethel Regina Born Trickett, 88, of Arthurdale, passed away Wednesday, December 24th, 2008 at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, WV. She was born February 6, 1920, in Planview, WV, the daughter of the late Elihu and Mary Agnes Farrell Born. She was devoted to her family and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gladesville, WV. She is survived by a son, Charles (Bud) Trickett of Marysville, OH, a daughter and spouse Frances and Carl Trickett of Arthurdale, grandsons and spouses including Jay and Paula Trickett, Brad and Sherri Trickett, Matthew and Tara Trickett, and Daniel Trickett, granddaughter Rebecca and spouse Michael Burgess, two sisters, Helen Catlett and Garnet Sisler, and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Trickett in 1987, a brother Rex Born, and a sister Grace Brown. Friends will be received at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, December 27, 2008, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Ford officiating. Burial will follow at the Gladesville Cemetery.
