Obituary of Iva Wolfe

Iva L. Wolfe, 76, of Tunnelton, WV, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born July 13, 1934 in Friendsville, MD, the daughter of the late John L. and Mary Burgess Detrick. She was a loving wife, mother and best friend to all. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Herbert Wolfe; a son Leonard Wolfe of Morgantown; two brothers, Robert Detrick of Friendsville and Floyd Detrick of Oakland; three sisters Nellie Hixon of Rocky River, OH, Dot Lazaran of Uniontown, and Blanche Myers of Punta Gorda, FL; and many nieces and nephews. In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, March 19 from 2 - 6 pm, Sunday, March 20 from 2 - 8pm and from 11 am until the 1pm service time on Monday March 21 with Rev. Neil Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at the Blackwood Cemetery in Newburg. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice Care, PO Box 760, Arthurdale, WV, 26520.
