Obituary of Shirley Haught
Shirley Jean Haught, 75, of Tunnelton, WV, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood with her family by her side.
She was born in Masontown on May 18, 1937, a daughter of the late Effie E. Molisee Wolfe and Wesley G. Wolfe.
Shirley was loved by her family and she loved her family unconditionally. She was always glad to spend time with each of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She welcomed every new family member with love and open arms. Shirley and Robert tried their best to raise their six children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved working in her flower garden in the summer, canning with her family in the fall and gospel music.
She is survived by three daughters and spouses; Debra Larew and Randy Shipp of Grafton, Gloria and Mark Haddix of Newburg and Rhonda and Brian Amos of Terra Alta; three sons and spouses, Robert and June Haught Jr., Michael Haught and James "Pete" and Sonya Haught, all of Tunnelton; one sister, Grace Lambert of Masontown; one brother, Calvin "Sonny" B. and Hazel Wolfe, of Masontown; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Victor Haught Sr. in 2008; two brothers, Harold "Bucky" Molisee and Leo Wolfe; two sisters, Thelma Haun and Elma Shaffer; one granddaughter, Tonya Lynette Shaffer; one great grandaughter, Mackenzie Lyna Larew; one grandson, Tony Williams and one step granddaughter, Christine Renee Gabbert.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 2 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday June 14, 2012 from noon until the 2 p.m. service time with Rev. Robert Uphold and Rev. Burl Haddix officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
