Obituary of Charles Gamble

Charles Edgar Gamble, 70, of Kingwood, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Masontown on April 13, 1942, a son of the late Blanche Rodgers Gamble and William Gamble.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was employed at Reliable Coal Company, 4 D Logging and at Wal Mart. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards and the outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Mary Titchnell Gamble; one daughter Gina Turner and husband Sam of Masontown; one son, Scott Gamble and wife Stephanie of Morgantown; five sisters, Betty Shaffer and husband Carl, Shirley Sterling, Joanne Nedrow, Dora Nicholson and Janet Nedrow and husband Allen; one brother, Robert Gamble and wife Beulah; and three grandchildren, Tai Forman, Amber Blosser,and Dylan Gamble; several brothers in law and sisters in law; and nieces and nephews. He was looking forward to the birth of his first great grandchild in November. He was preceded in by two sisters, two brothers and a brother in law, Harley Titchnell. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Tuesday July 10, 2012 from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday July 11, 2012 from 2 to 8 p.m. Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday July 12, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Kelly Gamble officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Herring.
