Obituary of Kathleen Wiesepape

Kathleen Marie Wiesepape, 63, of Masontown passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born in Hayward, CA on October 7, 1948, a daughter of the late Catherine T. Hopper and Eugene Lund. She owned and operated Poppy Patch Florist in Galt, CA for 15 years and Poppies Upholstery for 6 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a mother to many neighborhood children. She was catholic by faith and attended the St. Zita Catholic Church in Masontown. She was also a graduate of Lodi High School in California. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Wiesepape; a daughter Shawn Galusky and husband Steve of Masontown; a son Sam Wiesepape of Folsom, CA; two brothers, Neil P. Lund and wife Patty of Livermore, CA and Dan E. Lund and wife Cheri of Elk Grove, CA; Ralph Irwin; Mike and Deb Irwin; Rod and Deb Turner; four grandchildren; Amelia Wiesepape, Grace Wiesepape, Jimmy Galusky and Gig Galusky; a good friend, Karen Jacobson; several cousins; several nieces and nephews and the Whitlock family. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael A. Lund. Friends may gather for an evening of remembrance at Field Funeral Home on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Field Funeral Home on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Fr.
