Obituary of Ricky Dalton

Ricky Junior Dalton, 50, of Masontown, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at his home. He was born July 18, 1963 in Morgantown, the son of Judy E. (Zinn) Dalton of Rowlesburg and the late Solomon "Nip" Dalton. Ricky was a loving father, brother and son. He made his home with his sister, Tammy, and brother-in-law, Kenny Price. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting. He also loved his Chevy trucks. Ricky never met a stranger in life. Ricky is survived by his children; Dakota Boyers, Jillian Dalton and Neal Dalton; step father, Charles E. Moats of Rowlesburg; sister, Tammy Price and husband Kenny; three nieces, Shayla, Halee, and Holly all of Masontown; sister, Misty Dalton; two nephews, Dalton and Mikey and niece, Ralynn all of Rowlesburg and numerous aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Solomon and Sadie Dalton and Raymond and Sylvia Zinn; numerous aunts and uncles and his beloved mother-in-law Shirley Spencer. Friends may call at the Mount View Free Methodist Church on the Mountainview Road in Morgantown on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 1 pm until 9 pm. Services will be held at the church on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11 am with Rev. Francis Cracker officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery on Dogtown Road in Reedsville.
