Obituary of Nettie Nuce
Nettie Alice Nuce, 76, formerly of Masontown, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at the Goodwill Retirement Community in Grantsville, MD.
She was born, November 19, 1936 in Masontown, a daughter of the late Emma Molisee Gibson and Paul Gibson.
She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and co-owned and operated Dave's Tractor Supply in Masontown with her husband Dave for many years.
Alice is survived by four daughters and spouses, Anita and Dan Lewellen of Frostburg, MD, Sherry and Tim Taylor of Oakland, MD, Debra and Bruce Cooke of Uniontown, PA and Nancy and Bruce Taylor of Boise, ID; seven grandchildren, Scott Bonnette, Chase Bonnette, Bryce Taylor, Casey Taylor, Brodie Cooke, Colin Taylor, and Nathaniel Taylor; two sisters, Bonnie Jean Gibson of Cleveland, OH and Connie Marlene Jenkins and husband Joe of Pentress; four brothers, Virgil Gibson and wife Eleanor of Reedsville, Delmar Gibson and wife Bernice of Masontown, Robert Gibson Sr. and wife Ruth of Morgantown, and George Gibson Sr. and wife Mary of Windham, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband David P. Nuce in 2009 and six brothers, William Henry Gibson Sr., Earl Ray Gibson, Junior Leroy Gibson, James Melvin Gibson and Theodore "Teddy" Gibson and John Z. Gibson.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Friday October 25, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10 am. Saturday October 26, 2013 at the funeral home with Rev. Ron Funk officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
