Obituary of Judy Dalton

Judy Ellen (Zinn) Dalton, 68, of Rowlesburg passed away Friday, November 8, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on May 3, 1945 in Corinth, WV, a daughter of the late Sylvia G. (Sisler) and Raymond S. Zinn. She was a loving mother, grandmother and companion. She worked in housekeeping and as a cook for Ramada Inn, The Towers and Supply Post. Judy was Methodist by faith. She was a great lover of animals. She cared for many pets as well as taking in many wild animals over the years. Judy is survived by her two daughters; Tammy Price and husband Kenny of Masontown and Misty Dalton of Rowlesburg; nine grandchildren; Shayla, Dalton, Dakota, Halee, Jillian, Holly, Mikey, Ralynn and Neal, her companion of 22 years, Charles E. Moats; four sisters, Sue Reed of Morgantown, Norma Snyder of Masontown, Mary Ann Fortney of OH and Rhonda Christopher of PA; four brothers, Ernest Zinn of Rowlesburg, Mike Zinn of Reedsville, Johnny Zinn of Masontown and Elvis Zinn of Morgantown and her beloved dog, Baby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Solomon "Nip" Dalton; one son, Ricky Dalton; one brother, Chuck Zinn and one sister, Carolyn "Lou" Myers. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Francis Craker officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Reedsville.
