Obituary of Ruth Stemple

Ruth Alma Stemple, 89, of Arthurdale, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Four Winds Nursing Home Jackson, Ohio. She was born in Reedsville on July 14, 1924, a daughter of the late Ethel Mae (Johnson) and Brooke Ross Grimm. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister. Ruth is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Smith and husband Robert of OH, Linda Shaffer and fiancée Paul Baker of Reedsville and Donna Born and husband Ron of Arthurdale; four sons, John J. Stemple of Kingwood, Larry W. Stemple and wife Jean of OH, Blaine Stemple and wife Barb of Reedsville and Brad Stemple and wife Tresea of OH; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and a brother, Clyde Grimm and wife Carolyn of Reedsville. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John William Stemple; four grandsons, Larry Stemple, David Stemple, Mark Stemple and Chad Shaffer and three sisters. Cremation services will be provided by Field Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the spring with inurnment following in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
