Obituary of Lillian Wiles
Lillian Maxine Wiles, 93, of Disputanta, VA, formerly of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, VA.
She was born in Masontown on August 12, 1920, a daughter of the late Lula T. (Eavenson) and Foster W. Taylor.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
Maxine is survived by a daughter, Ruth Marzigliano of Disputanta, VA; three sons, Gary Wiles and wife Sandra of Morgantown, Asa Richard Wiles, Jr. of Louisville, OH and Michael Dale Wiles and wife Louella of Bolivar, OH; four sisters, Gladys Senny of Clearwater, FL, Verna Williams and husband Robert of Fairfax, VA, Mary Simmons of Dover, OH and Roberta DeBerry of Masontown; two brothers, Wilbur Taylor and Harry Taylor and wife Della, all of Holiday, FL; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Asa Richard Wiles, Sr., in 2011; a brother, Foster Allen Taylor; two sisters, Betty Jo Welch and Violet Britvec; a daughter-in-law, Donna Charlene Wiles and a sister-in-law, Germaine Taylor.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Pat Elder officiating. A private interment will be held at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV on Tuesday, December 17, 2013.
