Obituary of Sunday Taylor

Sunday Watson Taylor, Sr., 75, of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014. He was born in Masontown, on June 12, 1938, a son of the late Vivian Agnes Taylor and Emily Demoin Taylor. Sunday was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved woodworking and fishing with his great grandson Ryder. Sunday loved his grandchildren. He retired from Consolidation Coal Company after over 30 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patty (Ringer) Taylor; two sons, Sunday Taylor Jr. and Nathan Taylor and companion Cara Kuhn, both of Reedsville; two daughters, Suzetta Rehe and husband Tim of Reedsville and Anita Albright of Kingwood; three grandchildren, Stephanie Nair of Uniontown, PA, Jackie Bumps of Morgantown and BJ Albright of Kingwood,; six great grandchildren, Ryder Taylor, Andy Nair, CJ Albright, Garrett Nair, Mady Bumps and MaKayla Nair; four brothers, Curtis Taylor and wife Carolyn of Tunnelton, John Taylor and wife Carolyn of Kingwood, Albert Taylor and wife Diane of Masontown and Joseph Taylor and wife Carol of TN; four sisters, Wilma Gamble of Masontown, Dixie Radabaugh of Masontown, Shirley Urso and husband Tony of Morgantown and Ellen Michaels of Arthurdale and one sister-in-law, Pauline Taylor of Masontown. Sunday is preceded in death by two brothers, Vance "Pete" and Dennis Taylor and one sister, Velma "Sissy" Taylor. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m.. Services will be held at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Michael Harriman officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
