Obituary of Michael Voytek
Michael "Mike" Lincoln Voytek, 71, of Kingwood, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Preston Memorial Hospital.
Mike was born in Tunnelton on February 12, 1943, a son of the late Inez Lee (Wilson) and Steve Voytek.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mike served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at Commercial Press in Stephens City, VA for many years. He attended the Faith Christian Fellowship Church.
Mike is survived by a daughter, Tina Voytek of Morgantown; a son, Tracy L. Voytek and wife Amy of Reedsville; three grandchildren, Amber Sphar, Michaella Voytek and Madison Voytek; two great grandchildren, Matthew and Cayden Sphar; a sister, Rosemary Bolyard of Tunnelton and three brothers, John Voytek of Tunnelton, Gene Voytek of Dallas, GA and Wayne Voytek and wife Brenda of North Canton, OH.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Joe Voytek.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the 12 p.m. service time with Pastor David Chedester officiating. Interment will follow at the Camp Ground Cemetery in Tunnelton. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Preston County VFW Honor Guard, WVANG and the Preston County Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 977.
