Obituary of Chester Borne

Chester L. (Tom) Borne, 97, of Arthurdale, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was the son of the late Kasper and Bessie Born. He was the last surviving member of his family. He was born on June 17, 1917, the 10th of 12 children. He worked for many years for J.W. Ruby Enterprises and retired from Morgan Foodland in Kingwood. He loved to garden and tend to his animals. He is survived by his wife, Cathern P. (Knotts) Borne. They were married on June 20, 1953. They are the parents of three daughters; S. Yvonne Tayman and husband Joe, V. Jewell Moyer and husband Larry, all of Kingwood and L. Renea Sebastian and husband Joe of Belle Vernon, PA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Jeremiah Tayman, Scott Moyer, Jeff Moyer, Travis Tayman, T.J. Sebastian, Tanner Sebastian and Jennifer Sebastian and five great grandchildren, Mark Tayman, Luke Tayman, Ryan Tayman, Ian Moyer and Kaleigh Moyer. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown Friday, November 21, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Chaplin Craig Falkenstine officiating.
