Obituary of Irene Dumire

Irene Mae Dumire,87, of Kingwood, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Terra Alta, WV on March 3, 1928, a daughter of the late Gladys (Miller) and Archie Christopher. She is survived by four daughters, Linda McNear, Peggy Kline, Wilma Gribble and Gladys McNear, all of Kingwood; five sons, Jeffrey Dumire, George Dumire and Bryant Dumire, all of Kingwood, Melvin Dumire of Cleveland, OH and Matthew Dumire of York, AZ; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; one sister, Nina Cole of Tunnelton; two brothers, Wayne Christopher of Terra Alta and Willard Christopher of FL and several nieces and nephews. Irene was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfred F. Dumire; one son, Donald Dumire; one daughter, Madeline Bowman; one granddaughter and one brother, Charles Christopher. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service time with Pastor Trudy Zuchowski officiating.
