Obituary of Virginia Lee Green

Virginia Lee Green, 70, of Tunnelton, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. She was born in Tunnelton, WV, on December 3, 1945, a daughter of the late Clarence and Jessie (McCrobie) Riley. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Virginia enjoyed bingo, quilting and staying in touch with friends and family. Virginia is survived by a daughter, Victoria "Vicky" L. Green of Tunnelton, WV; three sons, Estil "Bubby" Green and wife Cindy of Tunnelton, Howard "Stinker" J. Green, Jr. of Tunnelton, and Earl Lee Green of Morgantown; grandchildren, Estil, Clarence, Mariah, Bryan, Desiare, Ashly, Darby, Dylan, Mason, Haley, Shannon, Michelle, Heather, David, Little James, Olivia and Cheyenne; a sister, JoAnn Rhodes of Tunnelton; a brother, Charles "George" Riley and wife Kay of VA; special friends, Angie Weaver of Tunnelton and Tim Shrout of Tunnelton. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Howard Green; her three brothers, Edward Riley, Robert "Pooty" Riley and Guy Riley and two sisters, Carolyn Keener and Betty Lou Stull. Friends may call at Field Funeral Home on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time with Pastor Dave Biggins officiating. Interment will be in Mt.
