Obituary of Danny Hussing
Danny Hussing, 60, of Masontown, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was born in Morgantown, on April 4, 1956, a son of the late Everett and Loretta (Glover) Hussing.
Danny loved spending time with his family above all else and had a special relationship with each one. He was a truck driver for many years for various local companies and later worked for Ohio Valley Paving. He loved spending time in the garage doing mechanic work. The accomplishment he was most proud of was the 1979 Ford truck he restored for his son Danny Jr. He was never to busy to stop what he was doing to help family and friends. One of his most precious memories was the 16 months he spent with his "Buddy" Raylen Nevaeh Williams Ledford.
Danny is survived by his loving companion and best friend of 20 years, Cora Lee Mitts; one son, Danny "D.J" Hussing Jr. of Kingwood, one daughter, Carrie Hussing of Gladesville; one step daughter, Vicky Nicholson and husband Bill of Morgantown; one step son, Denny Mitts and wife Angie of Waynesboro, PA; two brothers, Bobby Hussing and wife Sonna of Masontown and Eddie Hussing and wife Patty of Toledo, OH; two sisters, Jackie Teets and husband Ivan of Masontown and Carolyn Cale of Masontown; one granddaughter, Haley Rogers; three step grandsons, Christopher Keener, Dillan Lopez and Tyler Zeigler; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and his special little dog, Stud.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Charles "Muggy" Hussing, one sister, Sharon Cottrell and a brother in law John Cale.
