Obituary of Rosie Lee Blosser

Rosie Lee Blosser, 88, of Masontown, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Kingwood. She was born in Preston County on April 12, 1928, a daughter of the late Joseph Hornyak and Anna Sevtz Hornyak. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the St. Zita Catholic Church in Masontown and the Masontown VFW Post 1589 Ladies Auxiliary. She had worked at the Morgan Shirt Factory and for Ruby Enterprises. Rosie is survived by two sons, Charles Blosser and wife Theresa of Bretz and Edward Blosser and wife Janice of Reedsville; four grandchildren, Alicia Varner and husband Rich, Aaron Keener and wife Misty, Scott Blosser and wife Kara and Lori Mugnano and husband Mike; six great grandchildren, Riley Varner, Clayton Varner, Katelyn Blosser, Lauren Blosser, Hannah Keener and Emily Keener and one sister in law, Elnora "Wimp" Hornyak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "June" Blosser Jr., three brothers and four sisters. To honor her wishes Field Funeral Home in Masontown provided cremation services. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 6 p.m. until the 8 p.m. service time with Fr. Andrew Switzer officiating. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1589 will conduct a memorial service at 8 pm.
