Raelene Carol Raplee Larew Baker, 67, of Morgantown, went home singing and shouting, on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
She was born on October 15, 1949 on Birds Creek, near Tunnelton. She grew up on Rt. 92 in the home of Lanham "Doc" Pratt and Argyle Pyles Raplee and graduated from Newburg High School with the class of 1967.
Raelene worked at West Virginia University, Sterling Faucet and began her career as an inventory control specialist at Fourco Glass Company. She later worked for AFG Industries, Gallus, ICN Biomedicals, and eventually retired from Alpha Shirt Company in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a distribution center manager. She first attended church as a child at Birds Creek United Methodist Church, which was founded by her maternal ancestors (Pyles). She later converted to the Pentecostal faith and was a longtime member of Branches of Christ Ministries in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As a member of the women's ministry, she prepared meals for the less fortunate members of the Fort Wayne community. In all her interactions with others, she exemplified the ideals of her faith.
