Obituary of Allie Mae Smith
Allie Mae Smith, 94, of Masontown, went to be with her heavenly father, this Father's Day, Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Point Manor Personal Care Home in Point Marion, PA.
She was born in Bethlehem, WV, on November 9, 1922, a daughter of the late Charles Johnson and Dessie (Smith) Johnson.
She devoted most of her life to being a homemaker for her family, except for being a nurses aid at Ruby for 5 years. She was a member of the Masontown Nazarene Church, where she served faithfully. Her greatest compassion was missions.
Allie is survived by two sons, Rev. Carl D. Smith and wife Sue Ann of Lenior City, TN and Gerald Smith and wife Elaine of Masontown; a niece they raised as their daughter, Melvina Blaney of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Carla Tallman and husband Jim of Spencer, WV, Gwen Emberly and husband David of Charleston, WV, David Smith and wife Elizabeth of Lenior City, TN, Daphne Helmich and husband Bill of Prosperity, PA, and seven great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Carl Smith in 2011; five sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will be held 11a.m. Thursday June 22, 2017 at the Masontown Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Jesse Keenan & Rev. Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the Gordon Cemetery in Gladesville.
