Obituary of Richard Pegley
Richard Pegley, Jr., 66, of Masontown, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in Morgantown with his loving family by his side.
Richard was born in Morgantown, on September 21, 1951, a son of the late Richard Pegley, Sr and Frances Alberta Davis of OH.
He retired with over 35 years from the WV Department of Highways as an assistant materials lab supervisor in 2009.
In addition to his mother, Richard is survived by his best friend and love of his life, Kathy Gibson Pegley of Morgantown; a son, Craig John Warren Pegley and wife, Nicole of Morgantown, WV; a daughter, Richel Pegley Csutoros and fiance, Gary Selestow of Fredericktown, PA; five grandchildren, Andrue D'Leon Csutoros, Alston D'Lance Csutoros, Caleb Lee Pegley, Julianna Lynn Pegley, and Airiz Cinsear Pegley; two step grandchildren of Morgantown, WV; three brothers, John Louie Pegley and wife, Mary of Akron OH, Randall C. Robes of NC, and Howard H. Allison, Jr and wife, Jackie of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; two sisters, Priscilla Matthews of Springfield, VA and Angela A. Allison of Tallmadge, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, from 2 - 8pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017 with the scripture prayer service at 7:30 pm. A funeral liturgy outside of mass will be celebrated at the funeral home at 1 pm, Friday, November 17, 2017 with Fr. Andrew Switzer as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Masontown Cemetery.
