Obituary of Jay Randall Trickett

Jay Randall Trickett, 48, of Bretz, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 2, 2017. He was born in Morgantown, on February 7, 1969, a son of Carl and Frances Trickett of Arthurdale. Jay was a loving husband, son and father. He was a 1987 graduate of West Preston High School and was employed by WVU as a data technician. He served his country in the US Army during Desert Storm. He enjoyed hunting and the spending time in the outdoors. In addition to his parents, Jay is survived by his wife, Veronica Paula Trickett; two daughters, Mandra Trickett and Bethany Trickett both of Masontown; a step daughter, Cassandra Hackbart; one brother, Brad Trickett and wife Sherri of Arthurdale and three nieces, Courtney, Emma and Carley Trickett. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Bethel Trickett and Jay and Hazel Trickett. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service time with Pastor Marty Turner officiating.
