Obituary of Laine Robert Kennedy

Laine Robert Kennedy, 17 days old, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 23, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was so loved and blessed by his parents and family.

Laine was born on July 6, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, son of Hunter L. Kennedy and Katelynn D. Abshire of Morgantown.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandma, Melissa (Missy) Kennedy of Bruceton Mills; maternal grandparents, Robert (Bob) and Jennifer (Jen) Abshire of FL; great grandparents, Elvon and Ann Livengood of Bruceton Mills, Warren Kennedy of Morgantown, Bob and Sylvia Liston of Albright, and Mina Lee Abshire of FL. and four aunts, Sydney Kennedy of Bruceton Mills, Kaela Abshire of FL., Megan Abshire and Shelby Abshire both of Dayton, OH.

He was preceded in death by his grandpap, Terry L. Kennedy; great grandma, Elsie (Laverne) Kennedy; great grandfather, Robert Eugene Abshire Sr., and uncle, Robert Eugene Abshire III.

Laine was so loved and cherished by so many great aunts, uncles and friends. Laine's adorable little face will always be remembered and never forgotten.

Friends may call at the Burns Chapel United Methodist Church on Summer School Rd. in Morgantown on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 10 am until the 11 am service time with Rev. Lynda Masters officiating. To honor the family's wishes, Field Funeral Home in Masontown will provide cremation services.
