Obituary of Loraine Marie Wolfe

Loraine Marie Wolfe, 92, of Masontown, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home. Loraine was born in Morgantown, on March 26, 1927, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Mamie Pearl (Cale) Gibson. She was employed by WVU Hospital and Sterling Faucet and retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Masontown, the Ladies Eagle Lodge and the Masontown VFW Post #1589 Ladies Auxiliary. Loraine is survived by her daughter, Sandi Gibson and husband Roy of Masontown; a brother, Edwin Gibson and wife Carmen of Albuquerque, NM; a half-sister, Leona Johnson of Masontown ; a half-brother, Raymond Gibson of Pisgah; five grandchildren, Tonya Harmon and Tara Stawiarski, both of Pittsburgh, Tammy Wolfe, David Wolfe II, Steven Wolfe, all of OH; five great grandchildren, John Harmon, Ella Harmon, Aaron Stawiarski, Kaytlyn Parsons, and Gage Wolfe, and two great-great grandchildren, Cassidy Parsons and Colton Parsons. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Nelson Wolfe, her second husband, Dewey Wolfe; a son David N. Wolfe and three half-brothers Donald Wheeler, Kester Gibson and Orville Wade Gibson. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 2 - 8 p.m. with the Masontown VFW Post #1589 Ladies Auxiliary service at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Masontown with Pastor Casper Dalton, Jr officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
