Obituary of Douglas Jesse Costello

Douglas Jesse Costello, 72, of Masontown, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, June 8, 2020. He was born in Morgantown, on September 6, 1947, a son of the late Frederick William Costello Sr. and the late Mildred Aldena Mae (Harvey) Costello. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved hunting, fishing, camping at Big Bear and the great outdoors. He worked at Sterling Faucet in Morgantown for 28 ½ years. Doug is survived by his loving wife, Lucille (Blosser) Costello; two daughters, Juanita Farley and husband, Keith and Jessie M. Crooks and husband, Charles; four grandchildren, Keith Farley II, Tyler Farley, Ashley Znoy and Sara Jones; four great grandchildren, Nevaeh Stone, Miah Jones, Grayson Farley and Lilliana Dawn Roscoe; Shania Moser, who he thought of as a granddaughter; two brothers, Craig Costello and Kenneth Costello, three sisters, Eva Luckadoo, Sonja Worley and Shirley Sanders. He was preceded in death by a grandson, John Paul Znoy II; a brother, Frederick Costello Jr. and a sister, Sandra Lohr. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Friday, June 12, 2020, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 1 pm with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown. Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask. For the safety of everyone, we politely ask that visitors do not linger at the funeral home after seeing the Costello family.
