Obituary of Donna Marie Strahin

Donna Marie Strahin, 61, of Independence, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at home. Donna was born on February 22, 1959, a daughter of the late Arthur Cale and the late Ann Margaret (Perkins) Burke. She was employed for many years by Walmart as a phone operator and at the Reedsville Shop N Save. Donna is survived by her husband Rodney Strahin; three brothers, Daniel Burke and wife Brandy of PA, Gary Lee “Buddy” Burke and companion Denise of OH and Gary William Burke; two sisters, Shirley Stevenson of VA and Carolyn Sowder of GA and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather John Floyd Burke. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 2 - 6pm. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the Field Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Trickett officiating. Interment will follow in the Gladesville Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask.
