Obituary of Roy Robert Bourne
Roy Robert Bourne, 26, of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at home.
Roy was born in Morgantown, on July 1, 1994, a son of Roderick Bourne and wife Randi of Morgantown and Tonia Leyland of Flushing, OH.
He was employed by Team One Chevrolet Buick GMC in Oakland, MD, as an auto detailer. He loved his family, working on cars, building things and was an avid gamer.
Roy is survived by his wife, Kayla (Adams) Bourne; three sons, Aaron Adams, Brantley Bourne and Chase Bourne; a daughter, Delilah Bourne; three brothers, Shane Bourne and Krista Horner of Morgantown, David Bourne of Terra Alta and Roderick L. Bourne of Morgantown; four sisters, Autumn Bourne of Morgantown, Kimberly Leyland of FL, Alexia Leyland and Sabrina Leyland, both of Benzonia, MI; a step brother, William Young and Mikayla Bolyard of Morgantown; a step sister, Haley Dalton and Raymus of Morgantown; grandparents, Roy and Lillian Bourne of Morgantown; two aunts, Lisa Azzaro and Chris and Theresa Webb and Claude, all of Morgantown; two uncles, Roy Bourne of Georgetown, TX and Jessie Powell of Wheeling; several great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Connie Powell.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 11 am until the 1pm service time with Pastor Craig Bolyard officiating. To honor his wishes he will then be cremated.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family, Kayla Bourne 14306 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Reedsville, WV 26547.
Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask. For the safety of everyone, we politely ask that visitors do not linger at the funeral home after seeing the Bourne family.
