Obituary of Richard Lee Everson
Richard Lee Everson, Sr., 76, of Albright, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at Preston Memorial Hospital.
Richard was born in Morgantown, on April 22, 1944, a son of the late Ray Cogar and the late Virginia (Everson) Cogar.
He was a loving companion, father, stepfather, grandfather and great grandfather.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by his loving companion of over 40 years, Mary Clemens; two stepdaughters, Sue Sisler and James of Albright and Debbie Conner and Mark of Albright; a son, Richard "Ricky" Everson Jr. of NC; a daughter. Tanya Stone of Reedsville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Roger Cogar and a half sister, Jane Trent of Pittsburgh, PA.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Everson; two brothers, Lawrence Everson and Butch Cogar and a half-brother, Floyd Everson.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service time with Pastor Marshall Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Masontown.
