Obituary of Ricky Dale Moats

Ricky Dale Moats, 58, of Reedsville, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, at his home.

He was born in Kingwood, on August 22, 1962, a son of the late Walter L. and Rita Jean (Murphy) Moats.

He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. Ricky enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and ginsenging. He worked as a foreman for Asplundh Tree Service.

Ricky is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Kelly and husband TJ of Bruceton Mills; one brother, David Moats of Reedsville; two grandchildren, Jessica Kelly and Lillian Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn "Gilly" Moats; two sisters, Debbie Sisler and Kathy Runner and one brother, Mark Moats.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Kingwood Assebley of God with Pastor Russ Tenhoff officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Field Funeral Home in Masontown.
