Obituary of Heilda P Friend
Heilda Pauline Friend, 98, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Stonerise Nursing Home in Kingwood.
She was born in Preston County on July 21, 1924, a daughter of the late Frank and Lottie Durr Plum.
Pauline was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She enjoyed puzzles, gospel singing, crocheting and driving the back roads.
She is survived by two sisters, Freda Connor of PA and Martha Hague of OH; two granddaughters, Wanda Bolyard and husband John of Reedsville and Ellen Hoffman and husband Jeff of Terra Alta; two grandsons Joe Louk and wife Patricia of Morgantown and Donald Louk of Newburg; a grandson-in-law, Eddie Albright; ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Friend; one son, Tony Plum; one daughter, Leolla Louk; one granddaughter, Janice Albright; one brother, Ernest Plum; one sister, Dorothy Stone and one half sister, Gay Menear.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the Field Funeral Home with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. Interment will follow in the Shays Chapel Cemetery in Tunnelton.
