She was born in Sand Fork, WV on February 19, 1943, the daughter of the late Cecil Eustace and Lona Olena (Radcliff) Shackleford. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She graduated from Burnsville High School in 1961, worked at the South Park Exxon in Morgantown for several years, and in Reston, VA as a security guard. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Bash and husband Myron of Masontown, and Debra Gill of Kingwood, WV; two sons, David Gill and wife Wendy of Morgantown and Lawrence Gill of Shinnston, WV; a beloved sister and brother in law, Melody Davis and Charles of Glenville, three sisters; Vernita Moyers of Glenville, Emogene Baker of Heaters, WV, and Alma
