Obituary of David Junior Molisee

David "Davy" Molisee, Jr., 77, of Masontown, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Masontown, WV, on December 27, 1944, a son of the late David Marion Molisee and Arlene Virginia (Casseday) Molisee.

Davy was a retired coal miner. He loved hunting, fishing, working on cars and trucks, and tinkering on anything he could in his garage. He loved playing guitar and picking his banjo. He taught so many how to play guitar.

Davy is survived by his nephew and niece, Nathan Long and Amanda of Masontown; their children; Adriana "Pipsqueak", Nathan and David Long; his sisters, Judy Taylor and husband Printiss, Diane Spiker and husband Bill, Lora Hall and companion John, Sherry Roush and Husband Jim and Kathy Davis and husband Johnny; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Bella.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 4-8 pm and Friday, October 7, 2022, from 11 am until the 1 pm time of service with Father Clinton Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Masontown.
