Obituary of Carlos Fay Greathouse

Carlos F. "Bunk" Greathouse, 60, of Masontown, WV, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at his home.

Carlos was born in Morgantown, on October 18, 1962, a son of the late Ronald and Sally Virginia (Wolfe) Greathouse.

He was employed as a coalminer since he was 16 years old until 2015. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish.

Carlos is survived by two daughters, April Greathouse and Holly Cress and husband David, all of Masontown; two grandchildren, Whitney and Bryson Cress; two brothers and spouses, Ronnie and Phyllis Greathouse and Daniel and Mary Greathouse, all of Masontown; a brother-in-law, Calvin "Sonny" Wolfe of Masontown and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Charlotte Marie "Charlie" (Bolyard) Greathouse in 2017, sister, Hazel Wolfe and a niece, Robin Blaney.

Friends and family may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 2-4 and to 6-8 pm and Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 11am until the noon service time. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Masontown.
