Uncle Alex…may you rest in peace and finally relax. You were always such a hard worker and always up before the roosters crowed. Family, farming and your dogs were your life. You will be greatly missed by all of us.
Donna, Suzy and family…may you all feel peace during this tough time. Life will surely be different without Uncle Alex’s presence. Our family all send their love and condolences. Denise & Family

To my Uncle Alex’s family: your dad, grandfather, uncle, and friend to so many…he was the best of the best! Uncle Alex didn’t seem to have a mean bone in his body. The main man, the patriarch of the family, that everyone, including myself, looked up to our entire lives. Knowing he is meeting up with my aunt Hazel, whom I dearly loved, I’m sure she is there with open arms…and a bucket of tar. My heartfelt love and condolences go out to all of you. Love, Diane

Alec was a close friend and a wonderful neighbor of our family for over 90 years. He taught my 95 year old sister to ride a bike when she was six years old. We will miss him so. Our prayers go out to the family. Joe, Jennie, Nick, Matt, Halle, and Emma Volk.
