Dan devoted his life to serving his community, and the legacy of his kindness and the knowledge he passed on to others will live on. He was one of the most selfless people I have ever met. He acquired a storehouse of knowledge and experience, and standing in the community, but he was never too busy to talk to someone or help them. Over the years I came to greatly respect him. He will be missed.

Luke,
From the days of you and Josh playing little league to recently taking my own sons to the fire hall safety days and trick or treats, your dad was always kind to me and going out of his way to help kids. You and your family are in our thoughts.
